I’ve still got 6 teeth, 4 at the top and 2 at the bottom so I think its about time I got some more. I've been teething and a bit grisly for most of the past week and I even had a bit of a fever and a rash on my chest but the doctor said that I was all OK.

This afternoon Mum and went to Playgroup. Our Mums group has now changed to meeting on Mondays from 3-5pm at a Playgroup. All the Mums took along a piece of fruit each and so we had a nice platter of fruit to pick at. There are so many different and exciting toys there, and a sandpit and playground and plenty of space to crawl around so we will certainly have fun going there each week now.

Today I was well enough for Mum to take me for my 12 month vaccinations. Mum was a bit scared by the thought of so many needles at once so we didn’t have the MMR one, we’ll go back for that in a month or two. I didn’t have any bad effects this time except for a bruise and lump on my soft little bicep.

Today Mum went out for lunch with all the other Mums for a Mums group lunch, but with no little boys and girls! Can you imagine the noise there was at Greco’s when they all got talking after a glass or two of wine! My Mum was one of the quieter ones, she wasn’t drinking alcohol since I have a little brother or sister on the way!

Mum was very late home from lunch and as soon as we got home, we all went back out the door for a BBQ dinner on the balcony at Nanna’s.

This morning after breakfast, Mum and Dad put me in the pram and we walked to Nanna’s new place in Subi Centro. It wasn’t long before I was worn out with all the special attention I get from my Nanna and so I bedded down in my portacot which is now in Nanna’s spare bedroom.

Meanwhile Mum and Dad went out to do a few chores, such as joining the Wembley Toy Library! I realised what this meant for me later when we all got home there was a big red car there for me ready to ride in! It’s got a big handle on the back for easy pushing and its safer for me to sit in than the little yellow one I have which now easily falls over when I throw my weight around! This afternoon, on a big expedition around the garden in the new red car, Mum picked tomatoes from our plants and filled the bonnet space in my car with the beautiful tomato harvest!

Mum and I went to the Floreat Beach with the Mums group today. We hadn't seen the others for a few weeks over the Christmas break and we thought that maybe I'd caught up a bit now that I'm crawling, but of course the ones who were just walking before Christmas are now running! I took along my Wahu ball and Charlie and Sally ran around after it which was fun to watch! We ate our lunches on the grass in the shade and then it was time to play in the sand in the playground. I planted my face right in the sand but I didn't seem to mind, especially as I then did it again only a minute later!

I was eating my dinner in the highchair outside on the front verandah when Dad came home from work. I started playing peekaboo with him, but I'm not always very good at covering my eyes properly with my little hands but Dad got the idea. I don't use my 'sling' in the bath to lie or sit on anymore. I just sit on the bottom of the bath and Mum uses a nonslip mat to make it a bit easier for her to keep a hold on me otherwise my smooth bottom and the shiny bath are a lethal combination! I'm keen to stand up in the bath sometimes which makes it very convenient for washing my bottom! I still like to be carried into the lounge room wrapped up tightly in my towel, but then I'm not so keen to lie down and have my nappy or pyjamas put on. After we read a few books together (or should I say I turn the pages very quickly and there isn't much time for Mum or Dad to read much at all!) they always try to brush my teeth but I'm not keen on letting that toothbrush into my mouth and I firmly clamp my lips together!

At lunchtime Mum, Dad and I went for a BBQ at Nanna's new apartment, she's now a Subi Centro Nanna! We took my new toddler seat for the pram and Mum sat it on the dining table with me in it for me to eat my lunch, which worked quite well. In addition to the food Mum took for me I had some sausage from the BBQ. I had a brief afternoon sleep in my portacot which Dad setup in Nanna's spare bedroom. After I woke up and was playing in the lounge I was rather subdued and after I brought up my lunch on Nanna's Flokati rug (not a pretty sight by the way), everyone knew why!

Mum and Dad took me home and I had a bit more sleep and then bottle of milk, but that came up too, as well as some water I drunk. This was the first night that I went to bed without having any dinner but I think it was for the best because I slept soundly all night and I woke at my normal time around 6.30am and ate quite a good breakfast so I'm on the road to recovery.
PS At least my little tummy bug seems to have postponed my 12 months vaccinations which Mum was going to take me for today!

This is the first day that I have been to Daycare twice in one week! Mum is now working two days per week and so I will be going to Daycare on Fridays as well as Wednesdays. Today I noticed that its almost a whole different crowd at Daycare to Wednesdays but since I can now crawl and get about it shouldn't take me too long to meet some new buddies!

Today was Mum's first day back at work since our holiday and my first day back at Daycare. And it was of course the first time that I was able to show off my crawling and more importantly to get about and say hello to Ashton, Emma and some of my other buddies at Daycare instead of being the one who sat on the mat and waited for them to come over!

After only being home for 4 days, I think we can say that I can now crawl! This evening when Dad came home from work I did a very good crawl which was in fact captured by Mum on the video camera, as well as me playing peekaboo around the side of the kitchen cabinet. I am not sure where I got the idea to try that from, but it seemed like lots of fun at the time!

Today Mum, Dad and I drove home from Mandurah. We left after my morning nap and were home in time for lunch. During the trip home, I kept Mum busy. She had to turn around frequently to pick up the toys and books which I was throwing down but then realised I needed!

At home, Mum fed me my lunch while Dad made 101 trips from the car into the house carrying all our things. It was exhausting just watching him and Mum and I soon disappeared quietly for our afternoon naps!

We all had a lovely time away in Mandurah. Although it wasn't very hot, I still paddled in the sea a few times and had two proper swims with Dad. I got to play on plenty of swings in the various playgrounds when we went out for walks and at the house there were plenty of people encouraging me as I wiggled across the floor in my commando style crawl.
