Dad stayed home from work today because his hand was still quite swollen from his fall off his bike yesterday. He went to the doctor today and then had an Xray on his hand, luckily there is nothing broken so we hope it is OK once the swelling has gone down.
Donna, Mick, Tessa and Soren came to visit this morning. After he had fed, Soren looked like he needed something to occupy him so I lent him some of my new toys to play with. Soren is only 4 months older than me so he was just at the right age to appreciate them and show me how to use them. Tessa is 4 and she was also able to play with some of my more advanced toys and jigsaw puzzles.
Dad cut loose this afternoon and bought a couple of new gadgets - a 300GB external hard disk and a colour printer. Guess what that will mainly be used for? Printing out pictures of me of course!
This evening it was time for Granny to return to New Zealand. Mum, Dad and I drove her out to the airport. After she had checked in, Mum, Dad and Granny went to the Dome for coffees, while I drank my fill of breast milk. I heard Mum say that the house and garden have never looked as tidy and clean, due to all Granny's hard work. I guess its all downhill from here! One of her big achievements was washing, ironing and sorting all my clothes so that they are ready for me to wear when I grow and reach a new size! Thanks Granny! I did my best to charm her and I have no doubt that she'll be returning to New Zealand saying what an adorable little boy I am!
