Mum took me to get weighed at the Child Health Clinic this morning, I am 5 weeks old today and I now weigh 5.1kg. Mum thinks that is a good weight gain, I am certainly growing because I have now moved on from Newborn size nappies and I am now up to the Infant size! Mum has to remember to buy the Boys Infant size nappies, because there are also Girls ones!
Dad came home early from work to go to the beach for a swim because it was another hot day of 38 degrees. When he got home, I was sleeping like a "baby" in my room with the air conditioning on and Mum was resting in her room with the air conditioning unit on, we're making good use of our newly installed units!
Later, we all drove to Donna and Mick's house in Fremantle to visit Barbara Krarup who was visiting from England. She is an old family friend of Granny's and she said that she last saw my Mum when she was my age, that must be a very long time ago! Soren and I were both breastfed by our Mums on the couch, how cool! Afterwards, our Mums and Dads all ate pesto pasta and salad. Then we had to go home so that I could go to sleep in my own bed.
