There is a baby bathing demonstration each morning in the nursery. Today Mum and Dad took me along, and quickly put up their hand when the midwife asked for a volunteer, so I was the demonstration baby! I behaved very well and loved my first bath and having the procedure described as the other new parents watched carefully on how it should be done!
Today was the first day for visitors and we had quite a stream, Marta came before lunch with Naiomi and Jack, bringing presents as well as a bunch of home grown sunflowers. Apparently because I was overdue, I missed seeing the really giant sunflower which they had grown before Christmas. After lunch, Mike and Jill, Gaenor and Mary and Margaret all ended up visiting at the same time so we had quite a roomful. I was sleeping through most of it although there were brief gasps of excitement around the room when I opened my eyes for a little peek.
