We started the day with a Wembley walk. We went past the Wembley Primary School and since it was almost 8am when the polling booths opened, Mum and Dad joined the queue to cast their votes in the State election. We continued on for Mum and Dad to have a coffee and muffins at a coffee shop.

Back at home, Mum and Dad read the newspaper and watched music videos. I'm not supposed to watch the TV but I couldn't help noticing Gwen Stefani's moves. We all had a little lie down after our hectic morning, before we headed to Leederville for a family lunch with Nanna and Poppa, Auntie Kate, Uncle Alan and Claudia. I slept in my pram, my dreams only briefly interrupted by extremely high pitched squeals from Claudia, she can rival Mariah Carey in the upper registers! After they had left, I had Nanna's undivided attention and she held me and fussed over me just how I like it!

5pm and another social occasion... drinks at the Cranley's house in Daglish Street. We saw all the family who were at the picnic last night as well as Kieran visiting from Alice Springs and Yien from Bunbury. I slept the whole time and of course looked angelic for all those who cared to peek at me in my pram. I heard Mrs Cranley let her cockatoo Cocky out of his cage for his evening stroll but I was glad to be safely in my pram away from his sharp beak!
