Sorry I haven’t contributed for a few days, but I have been very busy discovering my hands. In fact I have two of them, each with five fingers and toes which I have examined very closely. I now know that my hands can be used to pick up my toys, hold Mum or Dad’s finger when extended to me or to hit Mum’s breast when the milk flow slows.

Today Mum took me into the big tall building where she used to work. We went into a little tiny room with a mirror and the doors closed behind us. Mum pressed a button marked 15 and when the doors opened again the whole room looked different. There were lots of people sitting at desks and when we came out to see them, they all gathered around and wanted to talk to us and pick me up out of my pram. It was an exhausting time but I came through it OK. I only raised my voice a couple of times which caused all the rest of the people with their heads down to look over at us with a queried “Is there a baby in the office?” expression on their faces. Lots of people asked my Mum when she was coming back to work but she said she is enjoying being at home with me at the moment.
