I have been sleeping through the night again for the past couple of weeks and I slept until 6.30am this morning. After breakfast, Mum and Dad took me shopping at Target. We bought birthday presents for Uncle Alan and Auntie Rose in New Zealand, they both have the same birthday as my Mum. After that we looked at lots of things in the baby department and saw baby Ashton (from the Mothers group) and his parents browsing there too. Later on at home, Dad practised erecting and dismantling my portacot and I had my afternoon sleep in it.
This evening, just as I was getting ready for my last feed, Mum and Dad appeared looking all dressed up, put me in my car seat and we all set off in the car. As we drove, there were huge flashes in the sky every minute or so which were quite frightening but Dad said it was OK and that it was called an electrical storm. It started to rain just as we got to Gaenor and Brian's place, I got safely inside and then Mum fed me which was a relief. Dad setup my new portacot in the spare bedroom and they put me to bed in there. It was no longer a spare bedroom because before we knew it I was accompanied by 7 month old Liam and 10 week old Joshua, 3 portacots in one room!
There were lots of people all talking and laughing so I was awake for a couple of hours, but I stayed quiet and let the other 2 get some sleep. Later on Liam and I both cried at the same time, this way no one could blame either of us. Soon after, Mum and Dad decided to take me home, Mum held me in my grobag while Dad packed my portacot away. Mum strapped me into the car in my grobag and I fell asleep on the way home so at home, she just carried me inside and I went straight back to sleep until 6am. My first night out on the social scene!
