This morning Mum and Dad invited Nanna, Poppa, Uncle Alan, Auntie Kate and Claudia over for a BBQ breakfast for Mum's birthday. Her birthday is really tomorrow but I think she is trying to stretch the celebrations out for 2 days.
They had a nice breakfast of fruit salad, pancakes and a BBQ fryup. The weather was lovely and sunny and we all sat outdoors, I sat on Nanna's knee and then in my bouncer. Last week Dad fixed up the swing because the ropes were broken, then he put me in the swing and swung it. Today I went in the swing again but on Dad's knee this time.
This afternoon, Mum, Dad and I went to the beach. We sat in our beach shelter on the sand, Mum fed me and then I lay down and played with my toys while Dad went for a swim. I got a bit tired and so we came home and I had a sleep, Mum and Dad had a sleep too. Grandad from New Zealand rang and woke up Mum to wish her a Happy Birthday and Mum got 3 emails from Alan, Lauren and Jack in NZ too. Mum has booked us seats to fly to New Zealand in October so I will meet them all then for the first time.
