This evening, Mum and I drove to Nanna and Poppa’s house and Dad came straight there from work. Nanna has bought some toys for her house and I had a play on a little yellow ride on bike (which is currently fixed as a stationary toy) with all sorts of things that move and make noises on it. It was very exciting but then when I couldn't stop yawning, Nanna bathed me in her laundry trough and then dried me on her hot pink towels! I hadn’t slept in my portacot for a while and when I kicked it wiggled around more than I’m used to, but I settled down quite quickly to sleep in it in the spare room. Nanna cooked yummy vegetarian dhal for dinner and everyone liked it!
When it was time to go home, Mum picked me up in my sleeping bag, put my beanie on carried me to the car. There is a slot near the bottom of the sleeping bag so that I could be strapped into my car seat while still in the bag, how cool (and cosy) is that?! I stayed awake for the car journey home and then I went off to sleep in my own cot.
