This morning we walked to visit the Wembley Day Care Centre which had an open day. It seemed like a nice place and Mum said we'll visit again during the week when there are lots of children there. Dad is getting a cold (maybe the one that Mum and I had recently) and Mum had been giving him a hard time for walking around on the cold floor in bare feet so this afternoon we went to buy him a pair of ugg boots so now he can keep his feet warm. Mum does a good job of making sure my feet are covered and that I keep warm, so perhaps she should take care of Dad too?!
As we were setting out for our walk to the day care centre this morning, our neighbours Susan and Matt were just arriving home in their car. We went over to say hello because they were bringing home their little baby girl Misha who was born last Monday. She looked so small, that was about my size 6 months ago but she has got more hair than I do now!
I'm still not keen on solids but today Mum let me play with the spoon which occasionally got a bit of stewed pear on it, but I really just wanted to suck on the spoon and to rub it over my lonely tooth. That's right, my first tooth is just showing through! I also quite enjoy sucking on a milk arrowroot biscuit, I always amaze Mum at how much mess I can make with one biscuit! Sometimes I lose my biscuit, but Mum always finds it either stuck to my bib or down the side of the high chair, it all comes to an end if it falls on the floor!
