We had beautiful sunny weather over the weekend. On Saturday we all walked to Subiaco for a bit of browsing, Mum and Dad had a coffee and then I got fed on a park bench! Yesterday we had a nice picnic lunch out in Kings Park, I had milk as always but I was also a bit partial to the avocado in Dad's sandwich!
This morning Mum and I visited the child health nurse and got me weighed and measured. I'm doing well length wise but I'm now a little below the 50% percentile for weight. I know this is because I'm not eating much of the sloppy stuff Mum makes me but I just like breastmilk for now! Its getting a bit tiring for Mum because I'm now waking twice during the night for a feed but I always ask politely and then settle back to sleep straight away (sometimes with a bit of squealing as a thankyou) so its not too much of an inconvenience for her. At the moment, when I'm feeding around 11pm, I usually get to see the end of the day's action at the Tour de France which is usually quite exciting!
On the way home we stopped in at the Wembley Day Care, for Mum to drop off my enrolment form for one day per week starting in October. She left me parked in my pram while she spoke to the lady indoors. While I was left unable to escape, various little boys came up to me and had a poke and tried to take my cool crab toy away. I will look forward to being a bit more mobile by the time I start there so that I can defend myself a little!
