This afternoon I started saying Da-da and when Dad came home from work I even said it several times for him! I'm getting good at sitting now although I sometimes over balance or throw myself backwards if I get too excited. When Mum hangs out the washing, she takes me outside and I sit on a towel on the grass and watch her or look around the garden.
Another development is that I've found a use for my sharp little teeth, I can make Mum jump a mile when she's breastfeeding me! She has tried saying "No!" and stopping breastfeeding me but now she seems to breastfeed me before my solid meal, this way I am more hungry and tend to get on with breastfeeding properly! I still seem to eat just as much food and still rock backwards and forwards in my highchair in between mouthfuls. I can sometimes hear the milk sloshing in my tummy when I do this. I realise that no one can get a spoon near my mouth while I'm rocking so I stop when I'm ready for a mouthful!
