This afternoon, Mum took me to my usual swimming class and she put me under the water several times today. She prepares me for it by blowing gently on my face so that I know when to hold my breath and then she holds me under and counts before she brings me up. Sometimes I look a little startled but I am brave and just get on with kicking around in the water. Near the end of our class as Mum was swishing me around in the warm water, my bowels relaxed and I popped a little poo out into my nappy. Mum had put on a proper swimmer nappy for me, but since she didn’t know and kept swishing me around in the water… eventually there was a look of shock on the face of the Mum next to us when she saw brown floaties because she thought her little girl had done it. But Mum soon realised that it was one of ours and the call was given to evacuate the pool. Luckily our class had almost finished, but our instructor Mally had to clean the pool before the next class could start, she told them that there would be a short delay while she was “fishing for poos”
