Today was the Grand Final between the West Coast Eagles and the Sydney Swans. Mum had borrowed some Eagles scarves of Nanna and Poppa’s and she took a photo of Claudia and I wearing them. Mum and Dad had pies for lunch from the Miami Bakehouse and despite our cheering, the Eagles couldn’t quite win it and lost by 4 points. Maybe next year! Afterwards we went for a walk along the beachside path and Dad took me on the swing at the playground. It was just the right size for me and I could hold on while he swung me high and I giggled.
It was nice to spend some time with Claudia and hear all the words she can now say. Mum took lots of photos of us together to send to Nanna and Poppa because they miss us so much. This evening Mum and Dad went out for dinner at the Brighton Hotel while Auntie Kate stayed home with Claudia and I. Tomorrow night its Auntie Kate and Uncle Alan’s turn to go out!
