I was first awake at 6am and Michelle told us later that she was lying in bed, secretly glad it was me rather than Josh or Samuel who had woken first this morning! While Mum fed me breakfast, Dad cycled to Strickland Bay to see the 20 metre blue whale which had washed up there 2 days ago. It is decomposing and Dad said it smelt very bad, and he took some photos to show Mum.
Mum and Dad set out for a walk with me in my pram, but got no further than the Geordie Bay cafe and had the Boatie's Brekky there! Before lunch, we all went to he beach again. Sheila and Denis were there with 18 month old twins Georgia and Mackenzie too. Michelle passed on to me a swimsuit which Samuel has grown out of. I sat in the shallow water with my Dad and splashed happily while Mum took some photos. We are booked in for 13 nights as Rottnest at this time next year and we can't wait!
After dinner, we went to Jill and Paddles' house in Thompson Bay for drinks and then we came home for me to go to bed. Instead of leaving on the 4.30pm ferry today, Mum and Dad had decided to stay an extra night because its so nice here!
