Today we're celebrating my birthday! I know that my real birthday is tomorrow but we're celebrating today so that Uncle Alan, Auntie Kate and Claudia can be here too. When I woke up from my morning sleep, Dad had decorated the family room with lots of streamers and red balloons. There was a pile of more pretty boxes, just at Christmas but this time they were all for me! Mum and Dad bought me a Winnie the Pooh fold out couch, I have actually been using it for a couple of days now but Dad wrapped it up in streamers today to make it special! They also bought me a wooden trolley and a big bag of Lego blocks to go in it, but they are at home because we had too much stuff to bring to Mandurah and they wouldn't fit in the car! Nanna bought me a swing to have at home because I'm enjoying the ones in the playgrounds here so much. Auntie Kate, Uncle Alan and Claudia bought me an inflatable swimming pool and a bucket and spade set.

Dad cooked sausages and steak on the barbecue and also made a trip to Simmo's Icecreamery to purchase something in a large white box... After my lunch which included a birthday sausage, Claudia and I had some red and green jelly which Mum had made and some of my birthday cake which is what was in the big white box! It's an icecream cake and it has Max written on top and chocolate freddo frogs and coloured jubes to decorate it on top. Its very yummy, I hope I can have some for pudding every lunchtime. It was all quite exhausting, and despite the sugar rush I soon headed off upstairs for an afternoon nap.
