Tonight Dad came home from work early and we went to visit Poppa in hospital. Mum had taken my dinner along so Nanna fed that to me while Dad held me, I thought I did quite a neat job of eating considering I usually eat in my high chair! On the way we had gone to Auntie Rose's house to collect from sarsparilla for Poppa and he very much enjoyed drinking that and told us how he used to drink it when he was a young boy in Adelaide.
Next Poppa moved on the Cascade beer which Dad had taken along for him. He enjoyed that too although he had to sip it very slowly. Meanwhile, Nanna took me for a walk to see the fish tank with lots of little fish swimming around in which had me captivated. Poppa was soon getting tired like me, so we said our goodbyes and left him to doze and Mum and Dad took me home to bed.
