This afternoon Mum and I went to Playgroup, and instead of having a large plate with pieces of fruit for all us littlies to help ourselves, today there was a little bowl for each of us and we all sat nicely at the big table on little chairs and ate our fruit. Ashton’s Mum, Britta took lots of photos of us because we were all sitting so nicely. Back at home, I built my tallest ever tower of 5 blocks. I looked very pleased with myself afterwards and gave myself a clap and then Mum clapped too. This afternoon Dad came home early from work and started the job of moving furniture from the back room, so that all the study stuff can move into there and then I can move into the current study. I hear that there will be a little baby coming in June who will need to sleep in my current room.
This evening Dad was reading me my Animal Sounds book, and after he told me that a “Cow goes Moooooooo” I mooed too. Unfortunately Mum missed that because she was emptying the bath, putting my towel away, washing my bottle, getting my bed ready and doing all the other things that busy Mums do.
Tonight Nanna came to look after me while Mum and Dad went out to a meeting. She came into my room to check on me a couple of times. One time when she came in, her eyes were still adjusting to the darkness and by the time she saw me, I was kneeling up and looking up at her with wide open eyes. She was very surprised and got such a surprise that she hastily exited from the room!
